I did have some 000 size metal needles but they are really long... so I decided to try to knit the socks with something else. The only thing I could think of that were short and round were toothpicks!
So I picked some toothpicks that where very smooth and put some wax on them (just got some from the candle on the table) and I went to it...
Crazy Toes & Heels, afterall, is an "any size" sock pattern correct?
So, I just did the Aloha cast on with two stitches each needle, and worked the first two rounds with both strands to increase.
I then increased the toe to 24 stitches total for the socks (6 stitches each DPN) and worked until I had the gusset increases worked... which is where I am here... ready to turn the heel...
